Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has arrived at the residence of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, at around 4:50pm, amid the ongoing impeachment crisis involving the traditional institution and the Oyo State Government.
Fayose’s visit comes at a critical moment as tensions continue to rise between the Olubadan and Governor Seyi Makinde, with political and traditional stakeholders closely monitoring developments.
Sources at the palace confirmed that the former governor arrived a few moments ago and is expected to hold a private meeting with the monarch to discuss the situation and explore possible avenues for peaceful resolution.
