In a development worthy of commendation, Hon. Lekan Abiola and Hon. Deacon Kehinde, members representing Akinyele Constituency 1 and 2 in the Oyo State House of Assembly, have taken swift steps to provide financial support for 3-year-old Akorede Abubakar, who was diagnosed with cataract and requires urgent surgery. The parent explained all there effort to reach the Akinyele council chairman, but was put in abortive before someone told them to meet YNN.
The boy’s parents met with YNN Pioneer Coordinator, Comrade Ahmed Meda, who connected them with the lawmakers. The Honorables promptly responded and approved assistance for the child’s treatment.
YNN, known in Akinyele for community intervention and support initiatives, was praised by the family and residents for facilitating government intervention in this critical case.
