CLARIFICATION ON THE CIRCULATING DECAMPEE VIDEO
The attention of the leadership of ACCORD, Akinyele Local Government led by Alh Emiola Taofeek Olayode, has been drawn to a video currently circulating on various social media platforms, suggesting that a group of individuals have decamped from our party Accord.
We wish to categorically clarify to all Party Stakeholders, Leaders, Members, and the general public that the individuals featured in the said video are not members of ACCORD, Akinyele Local Government.
From the information available to us, the individuals are associated with the APC and a certain foundation/group whose name is being withheld. We understand that there had been some disagreements between the group and the leadership of the foundation. Following a series of reconciliation efforts within the forum, some individuals reportedly left the foundation, while many others continued with the foundation.
Those who left are not members of Party ACCORD and, having disagreed with the foundation, have returned to their respective political groups within the APC. The earlier post was made solely as a cautionary notice to members of our party who may have business or other transactions with the individuals concerned, urging them to exercise due diligence, caution, and proper consideration in their dealings.We therefore urge all ACCORD members and supporters to disregard any impression created by the circulating video that these individuals have decamped from ACCORD to APC.
